Medical Terminology I at Lower Columbia College is a program offered every semester of the school year. This program builds students’ knowledge and skills relative to medical vocabulary and documentation. This is a 3-credit class that has no prerequisites! I believe that this course is essential for students preparing to go into any medical field and can even benefit students want to learn basic documentation and care procedures. I am a Health Promotion minor at the College of Idaho and taking this class would help me understand health topics beyond just nutrition.
