Learning or refreshing your keyboarding skills is crucial to succeeding in college and/or future jobs. Another course, Intro to MS Word-BTEC 145, is also important to take because it will not only help you with college courses but also help with personal and professional life. MS Word experience could be what will get you that dream job. Even if you think that you know enough of MS Word, wouldn’t it feel great to know your way around it like a pro? If you want, you can also attain a MS Word Certification to put on your resume.

Since I am not sure how to edit/tweak my comment (Assignment:Optimizing a Blog Post), I will just copy my comment and tweak here.

LCC’s Keyboarding class with know prior knowledge is an excellent way to either freshen up your dusty typing skills or to just learn the fundamental basics of typing. As we continue to move forward into the technologically dependent day and age it is important to have a set of proper keyboarding skills (or even ones that just get you by). This at your own pace class set up by LCC is a great way to do that. As someone who has taken several of LCC at your own pace online courses, I highly recommend this class.

Keyboarding without tears!
Ever wanted to take a typing speed test but not sure where to turn?
Lower Columbia College offers a self paced course specializing in typing practices for those who want to brush up on their Keyboarding skills. I took the course BTEC 110: Keyboarding with speed and accuracy during the Fall Quarter and I was not disappointed! I was finally able to practice touch typing without tears! I liked the course, it was self paced, and every “level” you build up your speed with typing and accuracy. The course offers the ability to talk with your instructor via Zoom meetings! I am able to type over 56 words per minute which is a major improvement compared to my typing skills before. This course teaches you not only to type faster and more accurately, but the course also teaches you how to use symbols and numbers associated with the keyboard, as well as a personalized skill building plan for it’s users. The real amazing thing is; is that you can continue to go back and re-challenge yourself and see how far you have learned! I recommend this course to anyone who struggles with the Keyboard and typing. If you are thinking about taking a course that is personalized, self paced and builds touch typing skills, for anyone to do even kids, then I suggest this course!
