I chose BTEC 110: Keyboarding Speed and Accuracy 1. This course is a typing class. Keyboard typing is really useful and important in this generation because with technology taking over, it helps stay in the “now”. It is based around helping you build speed and knowledge on the keyboard. It teaches you where the numbers and symbols are, and helps you learn the keys without having to look down at them. I chose this course because I thought it was the most interesting of the courses, and I also used to take typing lessons when I was in elementary school. In the library, we would have one day a week where we had to do lessons on the computers. I think this course is helpful because many people spend way longer on assignments than they should because they are looking down and searching for the keys. This course can help them gain speed and allow them to move on quicker.
