This course teaches and assists with typing letters, numbers and using the 10 digit number pad. The purpose of the class is to improve students keyboarding accuracy and skills. I think this class would be really helpful for people to take, I took a computer class similar to this in middle school and it helped with learning the basics of keyboarding.

Keyboarding Speed and Accuracy is a great course to take if you have never properly learned to type, or you need a good refresher to improve your typing speed. The course takes you through the basics, going all the way back to the home row and where to put your pointer fingers. The Greggs College program is used for BTEC 10/110 and gives a basic rundown of each letter, symbol, and number, and gives you plenty of practice to ace it! Once you finish the course, you will feel like typing is a second language! It really helped me and improved my speed and accuracy. It has made me more confident in my typing assignments, and has made typing up homework or essays a lot quicker for me!
